The
Mission of the Apostolate :
To bring as many souls as possible to Total
Consecration to Jesus, through Mary, by fostering the Saint Louis de Montfort
Total Consecration devotion worldwide, by providing free Total
Consecration packages to those willing to consecrate their lives to Jesus,
through Mary.
Goals of the Apostolate
:
1. To provide
free de Montfort Total Consecration packages to our Catholic
Bishops, Priests, Religious, Deacons, and Seminarians for our Heavenly
Mother's protection, and give the clergy the graces and strength
needed to successfuly remain faithful to their vocations and to increase the
number of ordinations among our Seminarians.
2. To bring souls to our Holy
Mother for her protection in a special way, and to enable them to
receive great graces to help avoid sin;
3. To bring souls to
Jesus through Mary for conversion and holiness, and to bring them closer to
Jesus through Mary than they ever could get on their own;
4. To increase the number of Apostolate members/distributors
worldwide, to spread this devotion within their geographical locations in
every country throughout the world;
5. For
every soul that completes this consecration, to bring us closer to the day that
Our Lady prophesized at Fatima : " In the end, my Immaculate Heart will
Triumph";
6. To assist in bringing about
the renewal, and new springtime of the Church;
7. To assist in bringing all hearts under the
reign of Jesus and
Mary.
Origins of the Apostolate :Tony
Mullen and I founded the Apostolate in late December 1999, with the objective of
encouraging those who love Our Lord and Our Lady , to consecrate their lives to
Jesus through Mary, by completing the de Montfort Total Consecration, and
providing them with the means to do so, at no cost to the individuals. Our goal
was 1,000 consecrated souls as a gift to Our Lady during the Great Jubilee Year,
and to form an Apostolate of those who have completed the consecration, who
desire to help Our Lady to spread this devotion to others. By the end of
the seventh year, we expected only 7,000 cumulative requests for our
package to have been received.
Cumulative Requests Received Each
Year :
Our Lady had other plans. By the end of the Great Jubilee Year,
3,212 requests for the package were received. During the second year, 4,293 more
requests were received. By the end of the third year, another 3,958 requests
were received. By the end of the fourth year, another 4,748 requests were
received. The end of the fifth year brought another 8,027
requests, for a cumulative total of 24,238 requests over 5
years. By the end of the sixth year, we received a another 14,327
requests, for a cumulative total of 38,565 requests received for the entire 6
year period of time. The exponential growth continued during the seventh
year with 58,465 requests received, which equates to 60% of the
97,030 packages mailed over the last seven years.
